This has to be one of the best experiences I have ever been to. The music was wonderful, the movie was Great, and the people with the Moscow Ginger flavored Mule was awesome. This was a perfected performance piece that I thought I wasn’t going to like. The moment the movie started and the Orchestra started to play that was it. I was immersed in the whole event. After a while you couldn’t even tell that the music was being played by the orchestra, that how smooth it was.
It all starts off with the Orchestra warming up on stage as everyone starts to fill the seats. Anyone that was over the age brought a shit ton of beer and mixed drinks. The Orchestra is still warming up getting their instruments together and then you hear a chime over the speakers which I think was the signal to get ready to take your seat. 10 minutes later the chime happens again and everyone from the Orchestra come out to the stage. The crowd takes their seat, The conductor comes out, bows at the crowd, looks at the musicians, Pulls out his harry Potter Stick (Pause), The Movie comes on and shit just becomes magical. Everyone was in harmony and we the crowd loved it. Now,… I don’t tear up at movies or show but if I didn’t shed a tear when that kid they had in the band (Tired of saying Orchestra) hit that Gandalf the white vs the Nazguls Shinning light note. It was like Jesus had just came from the sky and blessed everyone. I WASN’T READY FOR THAT! I had to drink 2 beer to get myself together. I can’t even watch that part anymore without thinking of the kid and becoming overwhelmed of his performance on how he hit that note. (I need a moment….)
I could talk about this all day but truth be told they did that shit! The Movie was great (I never Seen it… Don’t judge me), the music was excellent, and the performance was breathtaking. I would have never thought I would have been so taken of this type of music. The Philadelphia Orchestra was fun to watch and when it was over, they played the ending credits music. I was made we had to leave early because this was the only time I wasn’t to watch the credit, Just to hear them play.
