Wonder Women is one of the best movies with a female lead Since Kill Bill and Tank Girl (Tank Girl Was the Shit! I don’t care what anyone say). It was action packed, Funny, Sensitive, and educational. It showed you how she went from Diana -The Princess, to Diana -Wonder Women- the Adult. From the land of where she grew up and learn to fight, too Germany where she fought in World War 1. It was an amazing movie and I had a good time watching it. Of course the movie started off slow but how else are you going to learn and understand how everything came to be? Of Course there were some corny parts but for some reason it fit. And I did hate the begin… (Don’t judge me)
The Movie starts off with a young Diana (Child Wonder Women- Wonder girl???... Whatever) wanting to learn how to fight because she see her fellow amazonians training. She starts training and then we flash forward to Princess Diana as a teen??? (I think, maybe early 20’s) Training her ass off. In the middle of training she releases some type of crazy ass Power she never knew she had, where she damn near kill everyone in the training yard. (Flash Forward) Some guy by the name of Steve Trevor is trying to fly away from the Germans because he stole the book that holds the information of mass destruction and lands in Themyscira where Diana now wants to go with this mysterious man because she believes the God Ares is the one that causes of mass destruction and hysteria.
This movie is all over the place with action and sentimental values… (Yeah I teared up at the end…SO WHAT!) Gal Gadot (Who plays Wonder Women) plays the hell out of Wonder Women. I was amazed at how she owed the role. Playing her in her adolescence to her Maturing and realizing what was true and what was false was amazing.. Chris Pine (Who plays Steve Trevor) plays an awesome role as well. With him being withy and funny and with her being new and unaware plays a remarkable movie. It’s like the Pretty Women of Marvel movies.
