The Boba Teashop Review

As a man with a teen daughter that begs me to buy her Boba Tea right before we leave the mall, the people at the Boba stand all have the same look as the woman in the Boba teashop game… Dark eyes, … deprived of sleep, The smell of motivation and no soap… self-goal orientated and the ghost in the dark that keeps them awake… A baby!! (THERE YOUR REAL HORROR) All just to make a profit by selling tea with jelled tapioca pearls in it.

A big thank you to @heyitsporscha who suggested this game. She saw the afro samurai (coryxkenshin) play it and thought it would be something I should play.so.. shoutout to her… and I guess cory… (cAuSe mY NaMe is cOrRxKeNsHin)

The Boba Teashop is about a women named Risa that became tired of the corporate life and wanted to become a boss of her own. With all of the money she saved she opened her own Boba Teashop. A dream she has chased that would come tooo true. With the goal and ambition to make her shop flourish, She forgets the importance of taking a break and resting and end up over working herself into a state of madness and mental instability. Just like a brand new twitch streamer that just became affiliate and does a “New Affiliate sub marathon” with the caption “ this stream won’t end till I hit 100 subs” and ends stream after 5 hours because they only received 1 sub. You might not see the horror in that but for a new streamer that now looking for a twitch payout, 5 hours for 1 sub and the only viewer you have is a bot named wiz is terrifying.

I look it up after and didn’t feel like retyping. It’s Matcha boba tea… I think

You start your day off by opening the shop ready for customers to come in and serve them your life long dream of Boba tea. Everything is bright and exciting! Your menu consist on 3 things, Milk, Black tea, Boba… That’s it. ( It’s a brand new shop so you gotta start somewhere) One by one people start to walk in and asking you to make them their favorite drink and suggesting other items to add to your menu… like coffee or chocolate or whatever that green mix is… mocha or matcha… whatever.. it’s on the menu now.

By the end of every shift you close the store and start to feel tired and restless. Knowing your need rest you push on trying to keep the shop open, worried if you take any time off you’ll never meet your goal and everything you have worked hard for will be lost.
Days later and you added strawberry to the menu but everything is dark a gloomy.. You are sleep deprived and start seeing thing that may or may not real. But you chalk it up to you just being tired and your eyes are just bothering you and keep serving your customers all of the delicious drinks they are requesting. (Don’t worry about that shadowy figure in the corner with the red eyes, He’s a customer as well)

One day you start your shift in the shop. Exhausted, the room is dark and you can’t tell what real and what fake… But your strive to succeed is real. No matter the cost, You will make this work. So you stand behand the counter to take orders from your returning customers while the shadowy demons start to pop up. By the time you make the third drink you notice the room is full of demons. One is even on your counter in some weird sexy pose.( She kinds Thiccc too!). When the last drink is done all of the shadowy figures look at you and one starts to harlem shake towards you… chasing you into a room being prompt to hide.

You want the ending??? TO BAD! If I had to play it then you have to play it. It’s a review channel damn it! Not no damn game informer. Play it and find out what happens.

Me- 16 hours of straight Dead BY Daylight.

The game is a psychological horror that speaks volumes on the effect of what could happen when you push yourself over the limits and start a trail of no sleep and mental instability. It fine to have a goals and dreams and the pursuit of happiness and financial freedom but none of that won’t matter if your brain is broken. Like Risa, I too have dreams and ambitions to see myself succeed in my set goals as a content creator but unlike her I was broken from the start. I just don’t see the demons, we share a phone plan. And if any of them bastards is late with the rent money, then I become the demon and they become afraid of me. You can’t just be a demon and think you can haunt me for free… There’s a price for room and shelter bitch!! Pay your way or go haunt someone else!

I thought this was a really fun game to play. It had horror, I like the old style graphic design, the story in the game was great. The is a short story simulator that gets right to the point and I liked it. The game really made me think about how I do things and what I could do to better myself and my own demons. ( By charging them on the rent) As a “content creator “ that streams on twitch from Friday to Sunday straight through, I needed this game. At one point I was streaming almost everyday burning myself out but this game has help me to understand taking a break is always needed and you should always pace yourself. There’s nothing wrong with resting, relaxing and resetting yourself. If you don’t you’ll end up in a darker place with your demons… playing COD or Valorant.
